Location: 26° 39’ 01" N, 34° 03’ 48"E. Hyndman Reefs, southeast of Saafag.
I have not yet seen many photo's from inside the wreck, so i think these are quite uniq and rare.
The story is quite the dramatic one, hundreds of pelgrims returning from Mecca found here their last resting place. During this last voyage it hit a small reef and sank quite fast, what i have been told it sank within 8 minutes. The ship is laying on its portside which at times when i was cruising inside the ship can be confusing and disorienting. The dive was done with a small group of 5 on the 9th of Augustus 2009.
Gear used: My standard NikonD90 with a 18-105mm kitlens set to 18 mm.
